Take our 6 week challenge!
I know it’s a busy time of year and most
of us think, I can’t take one more thing. I
want to challenge you to do just that!
Here’s a few ideas:
1 MORE run this week
1 MORE set of reps
1 MORE try
1 MORE walk for the dog
1 MORE glass of water
1 MORE yoga pose
1 MORE serving of veggies
1 MORE pushup - each week
You get the idea! Choose one thing for the
next 6 weeks prior to summer, come
up with your own thing, challenge
yourself. It’s more fun and will be more
rewarding if it’s a REAL challenge.
Go ahead give it MORE!! Share with us on Facebook or contact me here. Can’t wait to hear about your challenge!

- School Lunches
I was recently introduced to the Lunch Love
Community and think that while we are
rethinking school lunches and policies we should
definitely take a look at these videos. They share
the ups and downs, the challenges and hurdles
and yet the success of changing school lunch
programs. Inspiring!

- Supporting Our
Neighbors
We have been providing the Wellesley
Food Pantry with fresh produce on
the second Tuesday of every month.
This month we will be bringing
strawberries. Donations should be dropped
off by June 12th. We also happily take any
other donations you would like to bring.
Email us for more information.

For Monthly Updates
I’m currently reading a book written by one of our neighbors, Margaret Moore. I hope to interview her. She has written Organize your Mind, Organize your Life: Train your Brain to Get More Done in Less Time along with of Paul Hammerness. Paul explains the brain while Margaret, aka “Coach Meg”, shows us how to implement the task of everyday life. For me, taming the frenzy and shift sets have been extremely valuable. If you are feeling distracted, stuck and unorganized, this book will tell you how to get it straight with your mind bringing you to a calm, structured state of wellbeing. I have learned a lot about my brain I did not know. It turns out, I’m not loosing my mind!
If you think you are loosing your mind, give this a try and support our local book store: Wellesley Books!
- What I’m reading:
Well, I’m definitely no farmer but I keep trying, I started out with some seeds this year and learned a few lessons. While I had my dining room table covered in seedlings the month of April most did not make the transplanting. Ugh! A few things are still hanging on and looking pretty good. My basil has made a come back and then I went out and purchased a few more hardy plants to fill the void. I will admit, I do love to garden just wish I had more time. For extra’s I’m thinking of having a herb stand in my front yard for neighbors and of course, friends. :)
